Rose is the most likable flower in the world. Would you back me up on this or disagree with me? Are you loving the delicate petals or frustrated by the spiky thorns? No matter what the answer is, there is no denying that this heavenly creation has inspired many artists all over the world. And earlier today, it inspired me (although I wouldn't exactly called myself an artist). I'm sharing another freebie today. It is a set of colorful rose patterns made from my drawing. I'm still not so good at sketching stuffs. So, if you have any doubt about the type of flower I'm using on my pattern below, trust me..it is supposed to be roses.

There is four patterns, each using different color template. Right click and save the jpeg image. You can then use this image to create repetitive pattern in your design. If you want to edit the coloring of this pattern, you can download the PSD file. Open the PSD in Photoshop and adjust the Color Fill Layers.

Here is another flower pattern I made a couple of days ago. I'm calling it Wildflower because I'm not sure what species of flower I'm drawing. It could be found in the wild or doesn't exist at all (perhaps just my wild imagination). The PNG image comes in four colors. You can download the image and install it as pattern in Photoshop or other software you're using. In most graphic software, you'll have the option to scale down the pattern if you would like tiny flower pattern. For those who like a different background color for this pattern, you can download the PSD file and change the background yourself.

How to Install Pattern in Photoshop

This is a short tutorial on how to install and use pattern in Photoshop. There's a lot of websites that offer free patterns for download. We have plenty from this blog. When you download pattern from the web, sometimes you got image file like jpeg or png. Follow below instruction to use this image file as repetitive pattern in Photoshop.

1. Open the image file in Photoshop.

2. Go to Edit > Define Pattern. A small window like below will appear. Type a name for your pattern and click OK.

3. Open a blank canvas. It can be of any size. You're gonna fill this canvas with our pattern.
